The BlueBird Power BlueSky charger is the innovative next generation charger to make your home smarter.
This state of the art charger, designed and manufactured in the Netherlands, will help you to charge in a safe, affordable and clean way.
Power: Our 3 phase 16A charger can charge up to 11 kW. That is the sweet spot. Companies that try to sell you 22 kW for a residential use case, sell you an illusion. Very few cars and/or household grid connections support that. We do not follow this hollow trend and are honest about it, 11 kW at home is the way to go.
Connectivity: Our charger is smart and connected to the internet. Via your own Wi-Fi connection or via Ethernet. Fast, reliable and affordable.
Control from your fingertips: With the BlueBird Power app, you can completely control and configure your charger. From Plug and Charge, to Home Load Balancing to setting your departure time and battery level requirements. We automatically optimise the perfect charging schedule based on your preferences.
Insights: We show you real-time insights in your charging and in your household energy usage. Get the grip over your energy behaviour, costs and savings.
Easy to install: Our charger is designed with the installation in mind. In fact, it is made so easy, that you could even install the charger yourself. It takes our average user 12 minutes, to install the charger and connect it to the internet*

Safe, secure and reliable: Our charger is compliant with all relevant regulations and certifications. From an electrical perspective, but also from a cybersecurity perspective. We have embedded safety and security by design.
Dynamic Phase switching: This unique feature, enables you to charge slower to benefit from your solar panels production. All other 3 phase chargers have a minimum charging speed of 4.2 kW, which is way more than the solar production for most houses. Our minimum charging speed is 1.4 kW. Therefore, you increase your solar self sufficiency with a factor 3!
Customise colours: Do you like it green or are you more a kind of blue person? Choose your favourite colour and personalise the look and feel of your charger.
Smart software: Our (AI Powered) smart software helps you to save costs and charge more sustainably. We automatically charge on the lowest prices if you are on a dynamic energy tariff. Mooi strak en simpel (op de goede manier) design. Valt niet op. Veel slimme functies. Makkelijk te bedienen. Handige app met nuttige en leuke info. Nederlandse en snelle klantenservice (had een vraag over levertijd). Makkelijk te installeren. Met kabel (dun en flexibel). Prijs/kwaliteit is super. Ik kan nog geen enkel minpunt ontdekken. Aanrader!
De installatiehandleiding is werkelijk perfect, hij leidt je probleemloos door alle stappen heen. Ook de app is goed en intuïtief, je hebt snel door hoe alles werkt.
Fijn dat het een Nederlands ontwerp en dat het ook in Nederland wordt gemaakt.
Toch had ik nog een vraag over de werking van Load Balancing. Na een email aan BlueBird had ik binnen 5 uur al een antwoord op mijn vraag, klasse!
Ook de prijs van deze lader is in vergelijking met een hoop andere aanbieders interessant.
Deze lader is zeker een aanrader!

Onlangs heb ik een wallbox bij BlueBird power aangeschaft. Niet geheel zonder hindernissen, maar dat was mijn eigen fout. Nodig een 3fase apparaat. Besteld een 1fase apparaat. Oeps, na overleg kon ik dezen omwisselen voor het juiste type.
Aansluiten is supper simpel. Heldere uitleg. Alleen de aanpassing in de meterkast, het aanbrengen van een gezekerde aardlekschakelaar 3 fase heb ik laten aanbrengen door een installateur.
De rest was goed te doen ook voor iemand met beperkte kennis. Zolang je maar veilig werkt.
De eerste laadsessie liep voorbeeldig. De loadbalencing functie werk prima. Ook de mogelijkheden om tijdschama,s of solarfuncties te gebruiken gaat prima. Dat vind je alleen op de veelduurdere types. Maar dan zit je vaak aan allerlei bijkomende voorwaarden vast.
De p1 dongel en de wifi waren snel en eenvoudig gevonden.
Dus kortom erg blij en tevreden mee. En voor een beetje handig iemand makkelijk zelf te installeren.
Enige tip die ik heb. Dat gaat over de bevestigingschroeven, dat zijn verzinkte schroeven. Die gaan op den duur roesten en laten vervelende strepen achter in hout en metselwerk. Dus gebruik rvs schroeven. Die zijn sterk, en roesten niet tot weinig dus blijft het materiaal waaraan de box is bevestigd netjes.

Blij met de lader van BlueBird. Valt niet teveel op op onze muur en doet precies wat ie moet doen. Veel slim laden opties in de app. Bijvoorbeeld voor dynamische energieprijzen en op de zonnepanelen. De vaste kabel is lekker dun en daardoor niet te zwaar en stug.
Makkelijk te installeren als de meterkast aangepast is voor 3 fase.
Jammer dat er geen Nederlandse handleiding voor de BlueBird Power App is.
Vooral fijn als je een dynamisch energiecontract met P1 Dongel hebt.
Dank voor de mooie review en fijn dat de installatie makkelijk was en het automatisch laden op het dynamische energiecontract goed bevalt.
Zowel de app als de installatiehandleiding zijn sinds een aantal weken ook in het Nederlands beschikbaar!
